It's in this Baithakji that Shri Mahaprabhuji’s father, Shri Lakshmana Bhatta left his body.
Shri Lakshmana Bhatta, accompanied with his wife, journeyed to Tirumala to have the darshan of Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji in his temple. During the darshan, Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji yawned and Shri Mahaprabhuji’s father entered into his mouth and achieved final liberation.
Shri Mahaprabhuji’s mother’s grief was lessened by His soothing words as He explained that His father’s spiritual form is the divine radiance of Shri Krishna and that he has just returned to his eternal position.
After performing His father’s last rites, He requested His mother and brother to return to His uncle’s house at Vidyanagar whilst He stayed a further 15 days under the Chhokar tree next to Pushkar Kund which was near the temple. Here, He gave a seven day discourse on the Shri Bhagavat Purana.
After the discourse, He went to have darshan of Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji who was glad to see Him. Shri Mahaprabhuji offered bath and Shrungar to Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji. He gave 50 Rupees to the temple’s pandit and requested that he offered Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji’s favourite samgri of manothar laddu. When Shri Mahaprabhuji was offering the samgri, Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji requested to have the meal together with him. After this, He did the arati of Lord Shri Tirupati Balaji.
