This translation is without approval
This English translation is based on the narration of Shri Vallabh Sakhi by Goswami Shri Vallabhabava of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Among the explanations of Shri Vallabh Sakhi that I have encountered, Goswami Shri Vallabhabava’s narration is truly exceptional. His depth of understanding, clarity of explanation and devotional insight are of the highest standard, and his interpretation stands apart.
The Sakhis are beautifully sung by Goswami Vrindavavji, the wife of Goswami Shri Vallabhabava.
However, this translation is done without His approval.
It is important to note, however, that this English translation has been prepared without the approval of Goswami Shri Vallabhabava. His view is that the English language cannot fully convey the depth, sweetness and spiritual meaning of Vraj Bhasha, the language in which his narration is given.
He also believes that scriptures of this depth and complexity are best heard directly from one’s Guru, rather than read through an English translation on a website.
For this reason, readers are encouraged not to rely on this translation alone. The most meaningful way to understand Shri Vallabh Sakhi is to listen to the original narration with humility, devotion and the guidance of a Guru.
Therefore, my advice to the reader is not to proceed any further.
