Shri Mahaprabhuji and His disciples stopped on the banks of the Kadam Sarovar. He then mentioned to Shri Damodardas Harsaniji, “This is the same place where Shri Krishna married with Shri Rukmaniji. After their marriage, they bath together in this Sarovar. Afterwards, all the local saints and hermits bathed in this holy water too. For this reason, we will do Shri Bhagavat Purana at this holy place.”
Later, Shri Mahaprabhuji went for the darshan of Lord Shri Madhavrayji, who was in the form of Chaturbhuj (form of four hands). Shri Mahaprabhuji bowed to him and asked, “My Lord, are you happy in this place?” Shri Madharvrayji replied, “At this place, no one is doing my seva. A Brahmin comes daily and he bathes me with cold water. Although he is my devotee, he doesn’t know how to do my seva. So, please teach him the correct mode of my worship.”
Shri Mahaprabhuji accepted Shri Madhavrayji’s command happily. The very next day, Shri Mahaprabhuji came to do darshan of Shri Madhavrayji at the same time as when the Brahmin was there. Shri Mahaprabhuji then instructed the Brahmin in the correct method of seva. Firstly, He showed how to seat Shri Madhavrayji on a beautiful assan. Then He showed how to properly wake, wash, offer shrungar of paag, dhoti, uprana and bhog to Shri Madhavrayji.
The Brahmin having learnt the correct way of seva, apologised by saying, “My Lord, I apologise for my past mistakes and will ensure the correct way to perform the seva of Shri Madhavrayji.”
Then, Shri Mahaprabhuji returned to the banks of the Kadam Sarovar and started Shri Bhagavat Purana from the next day. Shri Madhavrayji came daily to listen to Shri Mahaprabhuji.
