Kurukshetra

Shri Mahaprabhuji, came to Thaneshwar and stayed near Brahma Sarovar Kund (also known as Kurushetra Lake). It is believed that Brahma Sarovar Kund was created by Lord Bramha during creating the universe. During the epic battle of Mahabharat, the Pandava's offered their prayers and took bath in the Brahma Sarovar Kund.

Shri Mahaprabhuji, understanding the significance of this area, told Krishnadas Meghan that, “It was here that the great Mahabharat war between the Kauravas and Pandavas took place. It is also the place where Lord Krishna taught Arjuna the Shri Bhagavat Gita and gave him darshan in the majestic form. I should therefore recite the Shri Bhagavat Gita here.”

Over the next seven days, Shri Mahaprabhuji held the recitation of the Shri Bhagavat Gita where he explained the lilas of Shri Krishna to everyone present. They all experienced extreme spiritual bliss, joy and a rekindlement the pure bhakti in the tradition of Pustimarg.

From here, Shri Mahaprabhuji proceeded to Hardwara.
