Shri Mahaprabhuji came to Pindtarak (a village near Dwarka also known as Pindara), and stayed under the Chhokar tree. He explained the importance of this pilgrim place to His Sevakas that, “When the Lord Shri Krishna was the King of Dwarka, he visited all the nearby holy places. In this area, sage Durvasa was stayed in his ashram. Hence, we will do Shri Bhagavat Purana here.”
When Shri Mahaprabhuji started the Shri Bhagavat Purana, a Brahmin came daily to listen to Him is discourse. Shri Mahaprabhuji asked him, “Where do you live?” He replied, “Maharaj, I am living in this pilgrim place. I has a wish to listen to your katha for such a long time. Now it is fulfilled.” Krishnadas Meghan asked, “Maharaj, who is this Brahmin?” Shri Mahaprabhuji said, “Couldn’t you understand what he said? He said, he is living in this pilgrim place, which means he is Shri Tirthraj himself. He is the divine personified form of this holy area.”
After the end of Shri Bhagavat Purana, a local religious guide came to Shri Mahaprabhuji and said, “Maharaj, please give me salvation.” He replied, “Shri Tirthraj will give you salvation.” Then, Shri Mahaprabhuji gave him a generous dakshina (donation) and carried on with His pilgrimage.
Shri Mahaprabhuji had also given salvation to many souls in Pindtarak.
