Shri Mahaprabhuji stayed under a Chhokar tree near Shri Kamtanath mountain. He commanded to His devotees that “In this place, Shri Ramchandraji spent Chaturmas with Shri Sitaji, so we too will stay here”.
Shri Mahaprabhuji stayed here and performed Shrimad Bhagwat Parayan and the Shri Valmiki Ramayana, the story of Lord Ram. Shri Hanumanji, the monkey God, came every day, and standing on one leg, heard the Katha from the Mukharvind of Shri Mahaprabhuji. Shri Mahaprabhuji asked him “Why don’t you sit and listen to the Katha”. Shri Hanumanji replied that “It is my oath of austerity to listen to the Katha by standing on one leg”.
A little later, Shri Mahaprabhuji commanded his devotees that “This Shri Kamtanath mountain is a brother of the Shri Giriraj mountain, so we will not even put our feet on this mountain because of our relation with Shri Girirajji”. Upon learning about this, the Shri Kamtanath mountain thought, through its supernatural form, “If Shri Mahaprabhuji will not touch me by his leg, then how can I get His blessings”?
To resolve this, Shri Kamtanath mountain took the form of a Brahmin and came to Shri Mahaprabhuji and requested “Maharaj, Shri Ramchandraji and Shri Sitaji lives in my peak which is the form of my heart. Both of them are very hungry. So, please come up with some samagri”.
At that time, Shri Mahaprabhuji had just offered bhog to Shri Thakorji. Shri Mahaprabhuji commanded Shri Damodaradas and Shri Krishnadas Meghan “Make some more samagri from ripe banana”. Both Vaishnavas cut 42 bananas and added Misari, cardamom and rose water. Shri Krishnadas Meghan asked “Maharaj, this is Shri Thakorji's rose water. Can we use it for samagri for Shri Ramchandraji”?
Shri Mahaprabhuji smiled and answered that “Shri Ramchandraji is no other than Lord Krishna in his Maryada Purushottam form (controlled by law whereas Lord Krishna is governed by grace), so don’t worry”. Then Shri Mahaprabhuji climbed to the peak of the mountain. There, Shri Ramchandraji and Sitaji was seated on a jewelled rock. Shri Laxmanji was holding an umbrella to give shade with Shri Hanumanji standing with folded hands.
Shri Ramchandraji and Shri Mahaprabhuji met each other. Shri Ramchandraji gave Shri Mahaprabhuji a place to sit on his jewelled rock. Shri Mahaprabhuji offered the prepared samagri bhog to both Shri Ramchandraji and Shri Sitaji. They both took the meal. After that, Shri Mahaprabhuji gave prasad to Shri Laxmanji and Shri Hanumanji and talked with Shri Ramchandraji for one muhurth.
After taking leave of Shri Ramchandraji, Shri Mahaprabhuji returned to his Bethakji at the bottom of the mountain.
