There is no actual building for this Bethakji. So whilst Shri Mahaprabhuji was here and the narration of His visit is correct as below, there isn’t a physical place that the local Vaishavas have designated as a Beithak. This is therefore classed as a "Gupt" Baithak.
Vyas Ashram is situated two miles away from Shri Badrinathji. After coming to a nearby cave, Shri Mahaprabhuji commanded Krishnadas Meghan “You stand here. Inside this cave there is a monastery of Ved Vyasaji. I’ll come back after having the darshan of Shri Ved Vyasa”. Shri Mahaprabhuji then went inside the cave.
Krishnadas stood outside the cave and was waiting as Shri Mahaprabhuji had instructed.
When Shri Mahaprabhuji came inside the Ashram, he received a warm welcome by Shri Ved Vyasji who requested: ‘Maharaj, please explain to me the Bhrama Gita. Shri Mahaprabhuji replied that “I do not have much time to explain the whole Bhrama Gita. However, I will explain to you one of the verses”.
Shri Mahaprabhuji then started the discourse about a verse continuously for three nights and days. As He came towards the end of His discourse of this one verse, Shri Ved Vyasji praised him and said: “How wonderfully you sprinkled the Amrit Varsha in my mind! Your extraordinary explanation has poured nectar into my heart”. Shri Mahaprabhuji said: “My disciple Krishnadas is outside waiting for me. So please give me permission to leave”.
As Shri Mahaprabhuji came to the cave exit, he saw Krishnadas had been standing and waiting for Him for three days nights continuously. Seeing this, Shri Mahaprabhuji asked Krishnadas if he had any rest? Krishnadas replied, “Maharaj, I am standing here because of your command to stand here”. This was an example of the devotation that Krishnadas had for Shri Mahaprabhuji.
On another occasion, they were passing through a narrow passage of a the mountainous region near Vyas Ashram where the high peaks of mountains named Parali and Kirani were on both sides. Suddenly, a landslide of large rocks and boulders started falling from the slopes of the mountain. Krishndas, reacting in an instance, stopped the large rocks with his hands with the power of Shri Mahaprabhuji. This showed that for the sake of his Lord (Shri Mahaprabhuji), he showed his willingness to surrender his life. Being pleased with the affection of such a unique disciple, He commanded Shri Krishnadas to ask something.
Having thought for a moment, Krishnadas replied, “Maharaj, if you are pleased with me, then give me three blessings: The stupidity or foolishness of my language goes away; Bless me with the teachings of Pustimarg; Come to the Ashram of my former Guru”.
Listening to this, Shri Mahaprabhuji remained silent and blessed Krishnadas with his first two requests BUT not the third. We have seen a similar incident that happened in Soramji's Bethakji.
Shri Mahaprabhuji performed Shrimad Bhagwad Parayan near Vyas Ashram and then went back to Haridwar and proceeded towards Uttar Pradesh.
