Vyas Ganga

Shri Mahaprabhuji came to the banks of the Vyas Ganga river, in a place called Vyas Ghat, on the way to Kedarnath. It is in this area that the gupt Baithakji of Shri Mahaprabhuji resides.

Shri Mahaprabhuji, sitting under a Chhokra’s tree, commanded Shri Damodardas Harsani that “Shri Vyas Ganga stops us here.” Shri Damodardasji asked “Maharaj, what is the reason for this?” Shri Mahaprabhuji replied that “Shri Vedavyasaji received the Shrimad Bhagwatji in the “Samadhi language” here. So, I will perform the Shri Bhagavat Purana here.”

Shri Mahaprabhuji bathed in Shri Gangaji before starting the Shri Bhagavat Purana. At that time, every day a divinely ornamented woman came wearing gemstones and fine clothes. She used to stand on the left of Shri Mahaprabhuji and fan Him. This was her seva. When Shri Krishnadas Meghan rebuked her, Shri Mahaprabhuji stopped him. For seven days, this woman listened to the Shri Bhagavat Purana while performing her seva. When the Shri Bhagavat Purana was completed, she disappeared. All the sevaks present requested to Shri Mahaprabhuji “Maharaj, who was this supernatural woman?” He replied “That woman was the divine goddess form of Shri Gangaji. She came to hear Shri Bhagavat Purana and to perform her seva. The person who wants to serve should not be stoped. Doing so leads to guilt. It is the biggest seva to be able to facilitate all those who come to do their seva.”

Even in this very remote place, Shri Mahaprabhuji salvaged thousands of divine lives through His grace.

Then Shri Mahaprabhuji went from there to the Mandrachal Mountain.
