Shri Mahaprabhuji has stayed under the Chhokar tree at the Chakra Tirth Ghat of Mansi Ganga. This Ghat is also now known as Vallabh Ghat because of Shri Mahaprabhuji’s Bethak.
At that time, Shri Krushna Chaitanya (a Hindu saint and the chief proponent of the Achintya Bheda Abheda and Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition within Hinduism) was also staying in a nearby hut. He had made a vow not to speak to anyone before completing 125,000 nmes of the Lord (Namsankirtan). Before he had finished the Namsankirtan, he got the news of Shri Mahaprabhuji’s arrival and came and paid respect to Shri Mahaprabhuji. Shri Mahaprabhuji returned the respect.
Shri Mahaprabhuji asked “For how many months have you been living here”? Shri Krushna Chaitanya replied “I am living here for the past six months. According to Hindu mythology, it is said that Mansi Ganga is full of milk. If someone takes a bath regularly for six months in Mansi Ganga, he/she would have the Darshan of the Mansi Ganga in the form of milk. Mansi Ganga once came to my dream in the form of a divine being and commanded me that my desire will be fulfilled when Shri Mahaprabhuji will come here”.
After hearing this, Shri Mahaprabhuji sprinkled some water from his Kamandala on the eyes of Shri Krushna Chaitanya and all the other Vaishnavas who were present. Thus, everybody got the divine Darshan of the Mansi Ganga in the form of milk. All present then bathed in the divine lake.
Shri Krushna Chaitnya requested spiritual discussion with Shri Mahaprabhuji. In one such discussion, he said “Maharaj, I believe that, it’s impossible of getting salvation in this Kaliyug. So, any human that remembers God for just a moment, will achieve salvation”. Shri Mahaprabhuji replied “I don’t agree with you because, Kaliyug makes every human an extrovert towards the Bhagwat Satsang. That is why, a single grain of black mustard seed stays for only a second on the horn of the cow. Likewise, if anyone miss to remember Bhagwad name for even such a small time, they will become distanced from God”. After hearing this, Shri Krushnya Chaitnya understood the depth of Shri Mahaprabhuji’s knowledge and expertise.
Shri Mahaprabhuji, in the above incident, show how we should keep remembering Bhagwad name at all times. That is why, He instructed in the book of “Shri NavRatna” that “we should always chant Shri Krishna Sharanam mamah. For the time we miss to remember Bhagwad name, our Ekadash Indriya (eleven senses) become distanced from the Lord and we move towards the grief. That is why we should remember the Bhagwad name round the clock”.
After taking a bath in Mansi Ganga, Shri Mahaprabhuji recited the Shri Mad Bhagwad Gita. During this time, Shri Chakreshwarji Mahadev (Shiva), who has a temple on the banks of Mansi Ganga, came to listen daily.
One of Shri Chakreshwarji Mahadev’s disciple was in the habit of coming to his temple every day for darshan. However, on the days when Shri Mahaprabhuji was reciting the Shri Mad Bhagwad Gita, disciple was unable to do the darshan of Shri Chakreshwarji Mahadev. So he asked Shri Chakreshwarji Mahadev “Where are you in the morning”? Shri Chakreshwarji Mahadev replied, that he was listening to Shri Mahaprabhuji and told him to do the same.
Shri Mahaprabhuji stayed in the vicinity of Mansi Ganga for around a month.
