A humble request
Before I start this English translation of Shri Vallabh Sakhi by Shri Harirai Mahaprabhuji, let me make a humble request for His permission. I am only able to write these translations with His permission and wish. Without this, I cannot possibly interpret the meaning of any Sakhi.
Even with Shri Harirai Mahaprabhuji’s permission and wish, I cannot possibly interpret or convey each Sakhi’s meaning as precisely as He can. For this weakness of mine, I ask for the forgiveness of each reader.
I therefore make one final humble request of Shri Harirai Mahaprabhuji. Please inspire and bless me with the ability to convey the correct interpretation of each Sakhi to the best of my ability.
This may not be for everyone
Before you start reading and understanding each Sakhi, please recognize this.
Shri Vallabh Sakhi contains 100 Sakhi’s and is written by Shri Harirai Mahaprabhuji. All 100 Sakhi’s are not for the understanding of every human being. That means that many Sakhi’s you will read, but not fully understand or appreciate. Of the 100 Sakhi’s, some of them, only Pustimarg Vaishnav kinsfolk will fully understand. And the remaining few Sakhi’s will be very personal for you.
So, as you read each Sakhi, please request to Shri Harirai Mahaprabhuji that you are able to understand as many of His Sakhi’s as possible and incorporate them into your daily Vaishnav living.
